Educate me, please.
Okay, this is something I've been wondering about for some time now. I have a neighbor whose car has personalized license plates with an abbreviation for "sundowner." This neighbor displays military/ gun show type insignias as well. Now, to me, the only thing the license plate calls to mind is the old racist sundown laws, so I have sort of formed my own opinions about this neighbor which are pretty uncomplimentary. Let's just say I won't be asking that person over to tea. Is there a possibility I have missed some perfectly innocent, wholesome meaning for those car tags? Have I wrongly judged my neighbor? Please set me straight, if need be.
