Hey, blogging friends, I need your help!
I've been looking everywhere for a thermometer graph I can use on a blog to chart fundraising progress. There is a PHP script easily found on Google, but it doesn't work with my server, apparently. There's also a Java charting program I could download, but I have no experience with Java, and I think I would need some other software to use with it.
Does anyone know of a thermometer graph like I am talking about, that I might be able to put into my blog template, and then update as the funds trickle in?

I don't think they have thermometers, exactly, but you can check out the designs they DO have at Ticker Factory. Theirs are meant for weight loss, or pregnancy, or kids' ages, but you might be able to adjust them...

You know, I've been surfing blog explosion. A lot. I've seen plenty of blogs for their cause. I also follow the news, though not as religiously as some people. I am fully aware of the case, and do not need spam comments to make me aware. I doubt anybody does. I'm also vegetarian, so statistics show I save something like 92-3 lives a year by not eating animals. Does that count?

I needed a spam comment to make me aware. LOL I guess I haven't had time to surf blog explosion enough lately. And I've never seen/heard about it in the news. I'm wondering how I could have possibly missed it?
Well, I think the poor family that's all mixed up in that battle lives in Florida, so if you aren't in the area, it's understandable that it might not be all over your local news. I just think this kind of thing should be a private matter. These bloggers don't really know the people involved, and can't really make any truly informed opinions about it. I, myself, don't really know what to think, except to shake my head in sorrow that things like this happen at all. I don't have any answers, but it bugs me that some people are so convinced they do have all the answers.
