Where have I been?!
Hoo-boy! Didn't realize I hadn't posted in such a long time. Whoops. The kids have both been battling the flu, which I finally came down with Friday, whee. They'll be back to school tomorrow, I think, and I will have to drag myself to work unless I am practically at death's door. Fortunately, I only have a half day tomorrow.
It's been a kind of bonding experience, all of us having the same sickness. We all know what it is like to "cough 'til you yak,"and the kids have been sort of good about understanding that Mommy needs a nap, like they did the other day.
Blessedly, the TV programming wasn't too bad today, including an awesome episode of Mythbusters, which I think is now my son's favorite show. They virtually vaporized a cement mixer full of cement with blasting powder. They had to have the FBI involved for that one, their biggest explosion yet. Actually, it's one of my favorite shows, too. You can probably tell.
